Jeremy Whetter
Managing Director
Jeremy has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, predominantly working with businesses in the investment management sector. Prior to starting up Oakford Advisors Ltd, Jeremy worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers London & Johannesburg and BDO in the international corporate and personal tax teams. Jeremy joined Throgmorton UK Ltd, a corporate outsourcing company, to become a Tax Director specialising in strategic UK corporate tax planning for Investment Management businesses. He later sold his stake in Throgmorton, when the company was sold to Capita in 2014. Jeremy established Oakford Advisors Ltd in 2017 and has assisted a large number of financial services businesses to get started as well as helping existing businesses to embrace Outsourcing. Jeremy blends a practical approach with best practice and is passionate about client service, quality delivery, and building client relationships. Outside of work, Jeremy loves spending time with his family and socialising with friends. He also enjoys travel and cooking, as well as open water swimming, cycling, surfing and skiing.
Adam Shoosmith
Managing Director
Adam is a qualified accountant with more than 15 years' experience in the financial services industry, working mainly with investment management businesses. He has over 20 years' experience in accountancy, and joined Throgmorton UK Ltd in 2006, a corporate outsourcing company, acting as Business Unit Director and overseeing the management of over a hundred financial services clients. Adam specialises in acting as the outsourced financial controller while becoming integrated within the clients’ business to achieve the best and most practical solution. He has assisted many clients with management accounts, accountancy-based projects, financial regulatory monitoring, technical accounting matters as well as a secondment to a top UK Hedge fund as global financial controller. In 2017, Adam joined Oakford Advisors Ltd as an owner of the business and takes a lead in assisting financial services businesses on their set-up and ongoing requirements with an emphasis on accounting processes. Outside of work, Adam enjoys time with his family and is also enthusiastic about football, skiing, and socialising with friends.
Stefanie Weingarth
Senior Accounts Manager
Stef is a certified chartered accountant. After graduating, she began her finance career working for some of the UK’s top tourist attractions. She then moved on to Outsourcing roles firstly at Throgmorton UK Ltd and then RSM International, gaining over 8 years of experience in the investment management sector. Stef enjoys the variety and fast-paced nature of Outsourcing and has been the driving force behind the Accounts team at Oakford Advisors since 2019. She has a true passion for delivering quality client service alongside her team. Outside of work, Stef loves interior design and decorating her home, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
Rob Menhenitt
Senior Tax Manager
Rob has been in tax since 1977 when income tax rates were as high as 98%! He has a wealth of experience in most taxes. He has been involved with the Investment Management industry for over 15 years and is particularly familiar with most of the tax issues that face members of Investment Management firms. Rob has been married for over 35 years and has two children and four grandchildren. One of Rob’s greatest achievements was in February 2018 when he climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. He was part of a team of 11 who raised over £25,000 for charity. His outside interests include food, drink, travelling and falconry.
Kelly Andrews
Senior Accounts Manager
Kelly is a certified chartered accountant who has served in management roles in financial services Outsourcing and Industry. Prior to joining Oakford Advisors, Kelly worked as a Business Unit Leader at Throgmorton UK Ltd, and later as a country finance manager at Honeywell International managing a portfolio of large multi-national entities. Kelly brings strong technical knowledge and sector-specific experience. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys anything motorcycle-related and is an avid South African Rugby fan.
Kathryn Storrar
Senior Payroll Manager
Kathryn began her payroll career in 2011, initially in an in-house role before moving to outsourced from 2014. Kathryn joined Oakford in 2020 to manage the Payroll Services and is passionate in delivering a streamlined, accurate and reliable service to clients. In her spare time she enjoys family time, running, exploring the countryside (and the country pubs on route) and spontaneous travel trips.
Natalia MacKenzie
Senior Company Secretarial Manager
Natalia has over 12 years' experience working in an Outsourcing business environment. Prior to joining Oakford Advisors, she spent over 8 years at Throgmorton UK Ltd, where she worked in the Company Secretarial and Business Development teams. At Oakford, Natalia’s role covers an array of responsibilities, from business development and company secretarial services to helping to run the office. She is a positive individual and gives 100% to everything she does. Away from work, Natalia is a podcast enthusiast, a keen skier, and runner, and in 2019 she completed the Athens Marathon.
Lyndsey Harrison
L&D Accounts Manager
Lyndsey is a fellow certified chartered accountant who has more than 9 years' experience working in Outsourcing, specialising in the financial services sector, managing a portfolio of investment management clients. Lyndsey is originally from Yorkshire, but after graduating, her career brought her to the south of England, where she began working at Throgmorton UK Ltd. Lyndsey is passionate about the learning and development of the team at Oakford Advisors. Outside of work, Lyndsey enjoys travelling, dog walks and swimming.
Glen Donald
Accounts Manager
Graduating in Hotel Business Management at Birmingham University, and having worked in Canada and USA, Glen made the switch to finance in 2000. He has a valuable experience in accounting system changes, management system upgrades, inventory controls, and fully integrated accounting systems. Glen’s last role was at Clark Howes which merged with Azets where he applied his commercial, technical, and operational know-how of business accounting in a multitude of different industries, with clients ranging from start-up right up to larger, well-established businesses both in the UK and Internationally. Glen enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and pursuing outdoor activities. If he was not an accountant, he would be a national park ranger.
Thomas Devenport
Tax Manager
Thomas is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. He works in the Oakford team as a Tax Manager, having spent six years working in the Corporate Tax team at Buzzacott LLP.
In the last three years, Thomas has developed a growing focus on Financial Services clients and brings with him experience in the UK’s offshore fund regime and reporting fund requirements. Outside of work, Thomas is a huge car lover and petrol head, and enjoys going on long road trips across the country and Europe. When not focusing on cars, he loves going to the gym and spending time at the spa with his partner.
Manisha Sharma
Accounts Manager
Manisha has a Degree in Economics and Finance from Keele University. She has been working in accountancy since 2014. Prior to joining Oakford Advisors she worked at Throgmorton UK Ltd and has over 5 years' experience in Outsourcing and dealing with investment management businesses. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves reading books, and listening to podcasts.
Emma Bullock
Accounts Assistant Manager
With over 20 years’ experience in finance, Emma has a strong background in business and accounting processes, implementing accounting systems, and building great client relationships. Emma moved to her first Outsourcing role with Shaw Gibbs in 2021 where she managed a varied portfolio of clients. Emma is passionate about collaborating internally and with clients to develop tailored solutions that drive growth and efficiency. Outside of work, Emma enjoys eating out, paddleboarding, and going to the gym.
Sean Mortimer
Senior Accountant
Sean began his career in accountancy in 2018 after graduating from the University of Liverpool with a master's degree in Mathematics. He is currently studying towards his ACCA qualification. During his free time, Sean enjoys playing for his local Sunday football team and house renovations.
Zulqarnain Waqar
Senior Accountant
Zulqarnain is a certified chartered accountant. He started his accountancy career in 2018 after graduating from Oxford Brookes University. Prior to joining Oakford Advisors, Zulqarnain worked within various outsourcing and audit roles and has over 4 years’ of diverse experience working with clients from different industries. At Oakford, he enjoys working on a variety of tasks, from invoice processing to preparing management accounts. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and is blessed with two beautiful children. Zulqarnain also enjoys reading, history, and is a massive cricket fan.
Karolina Michalak
Senior Accountant
Karolina is an accountant with over 10 years' experience in accounting, predominantly in the hospitality and financial services industries. Before obtaining her Diploma in Accounting, she obtained an Engineering Degree from Warsaw University of Life Sciences. At Oakford Advisors Karolina is a Senior Accountant with a passion for client service and managing her portfolio of clients. Outside of work, Karolina enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves baking and dancing. She is also a DIY and interior design enthusiast.
Stephen Ashworth
Payroll Supervisor
Stephen began his career in finance after leaving school. Prior to joining Oakford, he worked in a small accounts practice for just under 5 years and progressed on to join Grant Thornton for over 4 years. Stephen aspires for change, and making life easier for himself and others, by modernising processes while assessing risk. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys watching Formular One and Football over a game of pool.
Hannah Price
Accounts Payable Supervisor
Hannah has a strong passion for working in finance. After studying her A-Levels she went straight into work and has now worked within the financial industry for over 4 years. She is also actively studying her AAT qualifications. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Harrison Paumier-Roberts
Accountant
Harrison is an accountant who has recently completed his AAT Level 4 qualification. He looks forward to starting the ACCA qualification in 2023. At Oakford, Harrison takes on a variety of tasks including invoice processing, payment runs and preparing management accounts. Outside of work, he loves playing badminton, tennis, and squash. Harrison also enjoys participating in charity walks to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Rebecca Devenney
Accountant
Rebecca “Becca” Devenney is a part-qualified accountant, having achieved her MAAT and currently working towards completing ACCA. She has over ten years of finance experience, originally working in Industry, and started gaining experience in Outsourcing when she joined Oakford Advisors. In her free time, she enjoys working out, travelling, and is the trustee of a charity that raises money for cancer research, treatment, and care.
Sam Jackson
Accountant
Sam is an Accountant. Prior to working at Oakford, he graduated from Cardiff University, achieving a degree in Mathematics. Sam is currently studying for his ACCA accounting qualifications. Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing football, going to music events and spending time with friends and family.
Michael Gibson Accountant
Michael is an Accountant. Prior to working at Oakford, Michael worked as an Accounts Associate at Azets for over 2 and a half years. Michael has achieved his MAAT status and is currently studying for his ACCA qualification. Outside of work he enjoys leading his youth group, going to the gym, and practicing his guitar.
Pradeesh Theyamathy
Accountant
Pradeesh is an Accountant at Oakford. He is MAAT qualified and ACCA affiliated. Prior to joining Oakford, Pradeesh worked at Berkshire Accountants for two years. Outside of work, Pradeesh loves to travel and explore new places and is a self proclaimed movie buff.
Kieran Bennett
Accounts Trainee
Kieran has recently joined the Oakford team as an Accounts Trainee. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2023 with a degree in International Relations, Kieran is looking forward to starting his accountancy career and earning his qualifications. Outside of work, Kieran enjoys going to music gigs and seeing his friends.
Gabriel Haivaz
Accounts Trainee
Gabriel is an Accounts Trainee with a degree in Economics, finance, and Banking from the University of Portsmouth. Having recently joined Oakford he is looking forward to joining the accountancy world and earning his qualifications. Outside of work, he enjoys playing football, running, and long walks on the beach.
Kulwinder Vig
Accounts Trainee
Kulwinder is an Accounts Trainee with a degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Southampton. At Oakford Advisors he enjoys working on a wide variety of tasks from invoice processing to preparing management accounts. Outside of work Kulwinder enjoys hanging out with friends and family, football, martial arts and his PS5.
Ashley Harrison
Accounts Trainee
Ashley is an Accounts Trainee who has recently made a career transition into accountancy. Prior to joining Oakford, Ashley achieved a master’s degree from Nottingham Trent University in Quantity Surveying. After recently joining the team, Ashley intends to study for his ACCA chartership and strives to deliver good quality work. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Gemma Yau
Payroll Specialist
Gemma started her career in Payroll in 2010 and has gained experience in various Outsourcing roles before joining Oakford Advisors Ltd. Gemma strives to deliver an accurate and efficient payroll solution to clients with effective, streamlined processes and technical expertise. Outside of work, Gemma enjoys arts and crafts, painting, drawing, going on walks, and spending precious time with the family.

Chloe-Anne started her career in Payroll in 2019 and has gained various payroll/pension experience in her previous roles before joining Oakford Advisors. Since joining the team, she is keen to deliver outstanding services to clients. Outside of work, Chloe-Anne enjoys going to the gym, travelling, and spending time with family & friends.
Dholkar Lama Accounts Trainee
Dholkar is an accounts trainee who has a great interest in finance. Having recently joined the Oakford team, she is planning to study for her accounting qualification. Outside of work, Dholkar enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Bora Hoxa Accounts Trainee
Bora is an Accounts Trainee. In 2019 she graduated from the University of Tirana where she received a degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2021 she was awarded a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Coventry University. She also holds a master’s degree in Marketing. She enjoys working in accounting and is planning to study for her ACCA qualification. Outside of work, Bora enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Emily Soffe Company Secretarial Trainee
Emily is a Company Secretarial Trainee. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2020 where she achieved a degree in History. At Oakford, she provides office support and helps the team on various accounting, tax, and company secretarial matters. In her spare time, Emily enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends.

Accounts Trainee
Katie is an Accounts Trainee who graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2020 where she achieved her degree in Business and Management. She is now looking forward to learning more about accountancy and beginning to study for her exams. Outside of work, Katie enjoys running and spending time with her friends.
James Wilsdon
Accounts Trainee
James is an Accounts Trainee that joined the Oakford team after graduating from Bournemouth university with a degree in Cyber Security. Outside of work, James enjoys music festivals and going to the gym.
Erin Strange
Accounts Trainee
Erin is an Accounts Trainee, who graduated from the University of Bristol in 2023 with a degree in History. Outside of work, Erin enjoys socialising with friends and family, as well as reading, running, and baking.
Mohammed Sharif
Accounts Trainee
Sharif is an Accounts Trainee that has recently joined the Oakford team. Sharif studied Business Management and Accounting at the University of Westminster London. Outside of work, Sharif enjoys spending time with his family, working on charity youth projects, and has a love for cooking and playing football.
Liudmyla Zghurska
Accounts Trainee
Prior to Oakford, Liudmyla worked as a financial director in Ukraine and moved to the UK in 2022. She has a degree in management and finance from the State University of Ukraine Financial Institute. In her spare time, Liudmyla enjoys spending time with her daughter, playing sports and travelling.
