Payroll Supervisor

Main Duties

  • Managing a portfolio consisting of approximately 20 monthly payroll clients.

  • Supervising and assisting other members of the payroll team

  • Performing internal reviews of payrolls

  • Involvement in onboarding/transitioning of new clients

  • Providing technical advice & responding to ad hoc queries 

  • Operating the end-to-end payroll cycle to include:

- Liaising & building relationships with clients

- Payroll input/preparation

- Submission of RTI filings

- Issuing payslips/P45’s/P60’s

- Setting up net salaries, HMRC & other 3rd party payments

- Completing auto enrolment duties & uploading pension contributions to relevant pension provider.

- Performing tax year-end routines

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

You will ideally thrive off a fast-paced environment in this exciting & varied role. 

  •  A minimum of 4 years of payroll experience

  • Experience in an outsourced/bureau background

  • Great technical payroll knowledge

  • Ability to multi-task, highly organised, and deadline driven

  • A focus on delivering a high-quality service
