Accounts Payable Specialist

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who is an enthusiastic team player and is up for a challenge in a fast-paced environment.

Oakford Advisors Ltd is an outsourced business services company which specialises in providing back-office services to businesses within the Financial Services industry, with a particular focus on SME businesses in the investment management sector.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Being the key day to day contact with both suppliers and the client

  • Being responsible for and key coordinator for invoices mailbox management

  • Dealing with supplier and client queries

  • Becoming an integral part of the client team

  • Setting up supplier payments using various banking platforms

  • Working with the client daily and dealing and assisting them with queries

  • Recording of purchase invoices in various accounting software

  • Working with accounts payable/expense management software

  • Processing personal and credit card expenses

  • Using Microsoft Excel

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Excel

  • Strong sense of ownership and detailed oriented

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willing to work to a demanding schedule
